I was born in Nuremberg, a pretty cool city in Bavaria, Germany. When I finished school I made a volunteer year in a school for disabled kids, what has been a very interesting and inspiring experience. Since I was at about 4 or 5 years old I always wanted to go to Africa once, so after half a year of earning money working in a beergarden I took a good friend of mine to fly over and we worked for 2 month in an orphanage in Tanzania. After that we had a wonderful month in Zanzibar and I kind of fell in love with the relaxed Hakuna Matata life of the Africans.
As I came back to Germany, I moved to Bamberg, where I am now studying and living in a nice apartment with three wonderful roommates. I really like the summer here as you can spontaniously go for a swim or just hang out in the beautiful historic city center, but still I really want to live somewhere else than in Bavaria soon, as I just can't stand all the abidance by the laws and narrow-mindedness here..

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really like the thought of not paying for everything you do and as I know, how cool it is to have someone you can sleep at, I also offer my place for travelers. And of course it's always a good chance to get to know new people and share interesting travel- or even life-stories ;)

Interests

Music! Mostly after the motto the older the better ;) I adore the music from the 60s. I'm also playing the guitar and piano, but both just for fun.
And reading books, as I also study Philosophy I'm very interested in thoughts, ideas and stories of people from all over the world.
