Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Started my sabbatical in August 2024 in Alaska. I´m not much of a planner, so learning from locals is for sure the best way to visit a place. Since I‘ll be on my own most of the time, I would love to get to know new people and cultures. Also I love nature and hiking. Though hiking by yourself comes with a risk, which is why I would love to have some company. I’m always in when it comes to hiking or other outdoor sports!
I‘m planning on backpacking through Alaska, Taiwan, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and New Zealand. At least that´s the plan.
