ABOUT ME

A-Hoy!!! My name is Nadine, i'm 22 years old and I like to consider myself as an artist. Born in Johannesburg(S.A), then moved to Caldas da Rainha(PT), then to Coimbra(PT), where i'm currently staying.
I'm planning this trip to Europe to explore new possibilities and experiences. Who knows where i shall be in the future.. :)
As an artist, I'm interested in the definition and sense of place, and it's relation with identity and memory, experienced through time and space in different societies.

In general, i would say that i am an easy-going, outdoor, head in the clouds happy person. Meeting new people, new places and new cultures is definitely one of my favourite things to do, since it is an inspiration to my work.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

A friend of mine told me about it, when he did an interrail. He had such a great time through couchsurfing, that i just have to experience it!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This is my first great adventure, and i probably shall be doing it alone, so i'm pretty excited and nervous at the same time. Hopefuly with a good couchsurfing experience, i'll continue to go on exploring the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Summer 2013 i travelled down the coast from Sines (Setúbal, Portugal) to Aljezur (Algarve,Portugal). Wild camping in amazing places :)
Another great place in Portugal is the National Park of Gerês!!
