About Me
CURRENT MISSION
keep an open mind and meet as many different people as possible
ABOUT ME
My very good friends would say: reliable, funny, has a dry humor, trustworthy. What acquaintances would say: a little shy, smart, enjoyable, nerdy. What family would say: a little crazy.
Just find out by yourself. As everybody else I have my good moments and my sad moments, but my mission is to increase the number of good moments and enjoy life to the fullest.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I love to meet people and learn about their cultures. Therefore I started hosting in 2012, had great people on my couch, enjoyed cooking together, helped with touristic advice and so on. But this wasn't enough, I felt the urge to meet more people from all over the world.
I did so during a three years trip around the world where I have seen many things and met even more amazing people, also with Couchsurfing, Now I am trying to settle again, having a regular job, finding new friends and feeling well in my new surroundings. But that doesn't hinder me from meeting people from all over the world now again in my apartment, to give back hospitality and friendship I found so much in all parts of the world.
Interests
My main interest is learning languages and travelling. I have done quite some travelling the past three years so right now I focus on the languages. My indonesian is starting to become acceptable. Just recently I thought that Korean is a nice language to learn too... :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Most amazing moment: passing the Larkya La (over 5000meter high) in Nepal when surrounding Mount Manaslu. It was a hell of a trip but I saw the most beautiful nature and met the most interesting people in this rough area.
