ABOUT ME

When a friend told me about CouchSurfing last year, I wanted to learn more. I've travelled a lot - on my own and with friends, or through my work. I'm always up for new experiences.

I spend roughly half the year away from Canada, at my job, which involves engineering on a private yacht in the Mediterranean and Caribbean.

When I'm not working at sea, I come back home to Newfoundland where I make my home in St. John's to spend time with my family and friends. They are what's most important to me.

I love a bit of adventure - who doesn't? ;) Sky diving, rock climbing, scuba diving, water sports - or just chilling out is good too.

When I have time off from being at sea, I try to travel as much as I can. I really enjoy meeting local people when I'm in other countries. CouchSurfing definitely helps me meet up with locals and fellow travellers, too!

My friends say I'm relaxed, easy to get along with and don't take myself too seriously. Have fun everybody!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I'm in Canada, I'm always happy to meet-up with new friends and show them some of the nightlife or take a stroll and enjoy coffee and chats. While I'm travelling, I enjoy CouchSurfing and meet-ups/events.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None as of yet, hoping to rectify this in the coming weeks.

I crossed the equator. Also survived an at-sea hurricane

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd like to learn French - I used to speak it as a child (my father was French), but I have lost most of it over the years. Not sure what I could teach, but at an at-home art party recently I surprised everyone with a sculpture I made (even surprised myself)!
