About Me
CURRENT MISSION
exploring the world, learning more about myself, experiencing new things, waiting for a cruise ship job
ABOUT ME
I love to try new and adventurous things. This year I newly got to explore the festival and Burner scene - I went to Tribal Gathering in Panama, Estereo Beach Festival in Colombia, Shambhala in Canada and Burning Man in the US. I love the diverse people I met at these events and all the new experiences I got to have.
I quit my job as a primary school teacher in summer 2017 and have been mostly travelling since, in the Caribbean, North- Middle- & South America.
I started salsa dancing in 2016 and have been doing so since. After that I discovered Bachata, which I love even more. Dancing has always been a passion of mine. I also appreciate that this is a mostly sober party scene, as I've had to quit alcohol due to stomach issues.
I like to meet new people, but can be a bit shy at first, more so in group situations. Can also be outgoing, it depends....
Since I started travelling full time, I've had much more time to read books again, which I enjoyed.
My favourite place on earth is anywhere where it's warm with a beach and palm trees :)
If I have the time and energy, I enjoy cooking. I have been a vegetarian since the age of 13.
PHILOSOPHY
I haven't been everywhere, but it's on my list.
DISCLAMER FOR GUYS THAT THINK THIS IS A DATING SITE:
It's not! Not interested! Fuck off and get Tinder!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I used to attend the weekly couchsurfing meetings in Zurich for years (then I got distracted by Salsa parties on Wednesdays ;) ). I have also attended several events and have hosted a few people.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far I have only couchsurfed once, in the Dominican Republic. It was a very spontaneous decision and a wonderful experience.
