Overview
About Me
I am a girl who loves living... I grew up in the eastern part of Germany, in Dresden, where I went to school, studied French and German to become a teacher and where I have all my friends and my family. As much as I love this place, I love my home away from home too, which is the south of France. After having passed an enternship in a collège in Normandy, I spent almost seven month in Toulon working as a language assistant. Since this time it seems as if I've left a part of my heart in the south of France, where I traveled quite often to since I came back. This summer I finished my Masters dissertation and before starting to work in Germany in February next year, I profit from my freetime which I spend in France. This summer I worked in a restaurant at the nice island Porquerolles, afterwards I spent some time in Vauvenargues supporting a family with triplets and now I am free to travel some weeks...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
... Because I want to explore places and cities I haven't seen yet and who would be better to introduce me there but locals??? ;-)
I prefer to be in contact with people instead of staying alone in a hostel and I love to learn more about other people and their personal stories
Interests
Lots of things: Music... not just listening to it, but singing (I sing in an a cappella ensemble) and dancing (on nights out or just in my room :-) ), the french language (I love to learn expressions!), reading, decorating, making fotos, riding bikes, enjoy the nature, play volleyball, cooking and eating!!, discussing about everything and nothing... exchange

Music, Movies, and Books
That's difficult to say, because I like lots of styles. I like Ella Fitzgerald, but at the same time Fritz Kalkbrenner, Camille or Robin Schulz... The only kind of music that I don't like that much is one without melody...
I like the romans of Jo Nesboe and films with action or love, which are funny or dramatic, documentaries or historic films... depends on my mood.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I keep hold of my friends... I am twenty-six years old and my most important friends I know them since ten or twenty years and how difficult times might have been, we never lost sight of each other and we'll never do. It is the same with my more recent friends from London, Milano or Toulon... Staying in touch doesn't meen to be forced to hear from each other every week, but to share happieness as well as sorrows when one is in need...
Teach, Learn, Share
As I love to cook (and to eat!!!) I collect recipes of every meal I liked and I am good in lerning by doing... at the same time I can share my knowledge of good cooking... I can teach German and I'd like to developpe my French... And depending on music... I am looking foreward to get a lot of new input and to participate...
