Friendly, calm, open-minded. Guess I am a mood person - can be very different with different people and in different situations. In any case people usually say they are comfortable around me. And I love interesting conversations, good parties, dancing, travelling, foreign languages, people with a sense of humour and open mind.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I went on a hitch-hiking trip in summer of 2010 with my friend. We hitch-hiked from Riga, Latvia to Vienna, Austria (our trip took us through Lithuania, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Germany) and we stayed with CouchSurfers all the way! Totally loved it, really nice people, all of them! We also hosted several people at our place in Riga and stayed with Couchsurfers while travelling with my friends in France. For the past 7 years I have not participated as I was working on a cruise ship and most of the time was away from land.

Interessen

Foreign languages, dancing, music (listening to it, I cannot play any musical instruments and I am a terrible singer), watching movies, cooking (when in the mood for that), cats, sun, seaside, chocolate, nuts, books, people.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Music: well, mostly "soft" rock, but not only, I also like salsa (and similar dancing) music, sometimes jazz, sometimes pop. Some examples: The Killers, Brainstorm, Aerosmith, U2, Moby, Coldplay, Room Eleven, Santana, etc.

Some movies: Catch Me If You Can, American Beauty, Green Mile, La Vita e Bella, Black Cat White Cat, etc.

Some books: The Kite Runner, The Portrait of Dorian Grey, The Alchemist and some other books of Paulo Coelho, etc.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Hitch-hiking for 2,5 weeks in Europe and staying with CouchSurfers. 5 months of exchange studies in France. Working for nearly 7 years on board the cruise ship and going around the world.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I do not expect to learn or teach anything in particular (except for practicing languages), usually it comes automatically and it is the best way to do it!
