Hey! I'm a vegan baker currently living in Toronto. I like mexican food, cats, and Meatloaf [musician, not food!].

I'm rather new to the couchsurfing world [made an account years ago but only recently started using it.] but so far it's been great. I'll be traveling from April 12th to May 18th, and am hoping to alternate between couchsurfing and AirBnB so I can meet some great people but still have a few nights to myself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling and couchsurfing allows me to do that while saving money and meeting new people! I'm not a huge fan of doing 'touristy' things so meeting people who actually live in the cities I visit make the trip that much more enoyable.

Interests

I go to a see a lot of bands, as well as comedy shows. I spend most of my down time watching television, hanging out with my cat Lily, and going to the gym.

I love to cook, and bake at home. My boyfriend hosts/produces a monthly comedy show that I make baked goods for and it's so great being able to create and make my own recipes.

I am currently attempting to draw/make a comic/graphic novel although it's been a very slow process and I don't know if I'm talented enough for the task.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a lot of pop punk such as The Front Bottoms, Modern Baseball, Brand New, Free Throw, and Tiny Moving Parts.

My favourite authors are Chuck Palahiuk [moreso his older stuff], and Colin & Julie Angus. I really enjoy reading adventure books which is why I'm drawn to Colin & Julie, as well as Jason Lewis. I read a lot of autobiographical comic books as well, my favourite artists being Jeffrey Brown, Julia Wertz, and Michael DeForge.

I mainly watch comedies, so one of my favourite movies is Wet Hot American Summer.
