About Me

Hi! My name is Nafisakhon, and I'm a law student from Uzbekistan, currently studying on an exchange program in Slovakia. I love traveling, meeting new people, and sharing stories about our cultures. As a Gemini, I love to communicate, experience new things, and stay open to new adventures.

I'm an active and friendly person who always tries to bring joy into conversations. My interests are diverse: from discussing legal matters and media to exploring the culture and history of different countries. In my free time, I run a blog where I share my knowledge of law and my travel experiences. I believe that the key to everything is kindness and mutual understanding.

I would be happy to meet new people, learn more about your city, and share stories about my homeland. I’m ready to be a grateful guest who will gladly socialize, help around the house, and respect your rules and space.

Looking forward to a pleasant and fun exchange! 😊

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a Gemini, I thrive on communication and love meeting new people. I'm genuinely interested in learning the true essence of the countries I visit, diving into their cultures, and connecting with locals. Being a student with a limited budget makes Couchsurfing an ideal option for me, allowing me to experience new places without the financial strain of hotels. I see Couchsurfing as a fantastic opportunity not only to find a place to stay but also to create meaningful connections and exchange stories with my hosts.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I absolutely love music that makes you want to dance, and I consider myself quite a good dancer too! Whether it's upbeat pop, rhythmic Latin beats, or energetic tunes, if it’s got a great rhythm, I’m on the dance floor.

Movies: I’m a huge fan of detective stories, whether in films or series. I enjoy plot twists, intriguing characters, and the thrill of solving a mystery alongside the main characters.

Books: I read a lot, and my favorite genre is historical novels. I love diving into different eras and learning about the past through well-told stories. History, with all its complexities, comes alive for me through these narratives.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing things I’ve done in my life happened quite unexpectedly in Bratislava. I was wandering around the city, taking photos of its beautiful streets, when I spotted a lovely couple enjoying a quiet moment by the Danube River. They looked so happy together, and the light was just perfect, so I couldn’t resist capturing the scene.

I approached them, showed them the photo, and to my surprise, they were delighted. We ended up chatting for a while, and I learned that they were celebrating their anniversary. They asked me to send them the picture, and a few days later, I was thrilled to see it shared on their social media with a heartwarming caption about their special day. It felt incredible to know that a spontaneous click of my camera could capture such a meaningful moment for someone else.

This experience reminded me how small gestures can create big smiles, and it’s one of the reasons why I love photography and meeting new people while traveling.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share insights in various areas, including law and photography. I enjoy discussing the legal landscape and rights in Uzbekistan, as well as sharing my photography experiences and tips. Additionally, I can offer perspectives on life in both Uzbekistan and Slovakia, highlighting cultural differences and similarities. I’m also passionate about discussing the challenges that girls may face in our country, fostering understanding and dialogue around these important issues. I believe that by sharing our experiences and knowledge, we can empower one another and create a supportive community.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you ever get the chance to visit Uzbekistan, I would love to treat you to the most delicious national dish, plov. It’s a must-try! I can also organize a tour of my beautiful city, Samarkand, where you can explore its rich history, stunning architecture, and vibrant culture. I’m excited to share the best of my homeland with you and create unforgettable memories together!
