Overview
About Me
I am curious, down to earth adventurous and love to learn. I have solo backpacked through, Israel, India, Italy, Malaysia, Nepal, and some of the United States, and just went to Jamaica. Can't wait to see more!! My background is Swedish and Irish on my dads side and Jamaican and French Canadian on my moms side... so basically I'm a mut!
I am an artist and musician, and love working with and teaching children and youth. I mostly work creating leadership programmes for youth.
I am interested in getting to know the culture, traditions and way of life in all the places I visit. I believe that the secret to traveling is taking the time to "live" each
place you go, not just run through seeing tourist destinations. This is what I hope to do!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I travel I like to feel like a really have my feet on the ground. I like to get to know the people and the place as a traveler rather than a tourist. And couch surfing allows me to do just that!
