About Me

ABOUT ME

Probably that I study too much, but that I'm very passionate. They'd say that I'm pretty goofy a lot of the time, and that I love to have a good time.

Interests

I study mechanical engineering. I love studying acoustics and dynamics and I'm hoping to go into that for grad school. Other than school, I love cycling and learning French. I spent a semester in France two years ago and now I'm back again. I love meeting new people and attempting to speak: I'm constantly heading out to the bars here in Metz and meeting new people. Traveling is amazing. I love seeing new things, experiencing new cultures, and making new friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most incredible moments of my life was when I was 17, I went to Boulder, CO, USA which is situated in the Rocky Mountains. As my family drove through the mountains, we pulled over to take in the view. As I got out of the car, the enormity of mountains left my jaw on the ground. I felt so small, and the view was so magnificent, I couldn't stop staring. I don't know that I've ever seen such a beautiful view. I would love to go back to the Rockies.

Another great memory is my first time leaving the United States. My mom took me to Ireland for my 18th birthday. We took a tour through Western Ireland. The bus stopped on the coast to tell us the story of how no settlers were there because it was entirely rock for miles. Watching the ocean break onto the rocky coast was breathtaking. And the fact that the place was essentially uninhabitable to humans made it even more pure, in a sense. I'm so happy I got to share that moment with my mom, it certainly left me awestruck.
