I love to travel and see the world. I have been travelling since I was 6/7 years old. I have also lived in 4 different countries. The last one being London UK, where I did MANY long weekends away in Europe or weeks off in Africa. I worked to travel.

Currently back in Calgary, Canada.

I was a Molecular Biologist and a Neuroscientist and a office manager but now on extended maternity leave.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting people has been great fun, for drinks, dinner and tours :)
I have always welcomed friends and family to stay at mine whenever possible.
I always had a spare blow up mattress as couches were going extinct in the flats I have lived in.
I couch surfed on my big trip to Oz and NZ.
As well as had an amazing time couch surfing in Istanbul.
Most recent just been hosting a few people here at home.
Always great to hear other people's travel stories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hung out with a Cheetah in SA
Rode on an ostrich in SA
Cage dived with crocodiles in SA
Held a big shark in Mexico.
I love animals and I am not afraid of them.
I have a tendency to be drawn to them.
I guess that is why I am a Zoologist.
