ABOUT
I’m an independent courier that delivers blood for the Red Cross. It is such a rewarding job knowing what I’m delivering may just be saving someone’s life!
I love when I can get up in the morning and take off driving. No destination in mind I'll know where I'm going when I get there.

PHILOSOPHY

Every stranger we meet carries a story we have never heard before. Some will share a meal. Some will offer directions, and others will only pass by with a smile, but each encounter quietly expands our understanding of humanity. Traveling reminds us that our small routines are just one version of life among millions.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When you meet a stranger, you’re being offered a window into a life you haven’t lived. There is so much to be learned from other people and their experiences. It reminds us that the world is bigger than just the space we live in.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Travel has a strange way of turning unfamiliar people into temporary companions. I have couch surfed twice, and I’ve had someone from Australia stay with me.

Interests

Renaissance Faires, traveling, learning about other cultures, movies, camping, rafting, hiking, really just about anything outdoors. Did I mention traveling?🙂

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a true crime buff when it comes to books. I like all different kinds of movies, but I don’t particularly care for all the CG stuff that is so prevalent today. Music is subject to my mood but mostly listen to pop and rock. Really love me some Elvis and Michael Franti and Spearhead.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Worked all over the US transporting railroad crews.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you to cut hair. I did that in what seems like a lifetime ago. Or we could exchange travel stories. I have a lot of those!
I have always wanted to learn to knit.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good conversation and travel stories. I can teach you to make crack chicken. No drugs involved just a really good comfort food chicken dish🤪
