About Me
ABOUT ME
I am an easy going, open, and outgoing person and would like to meet people from different backgrounds and cultures. I accept people the way they are and where they come from. In addition, I like to travel and learn about other people, customs, and traditions, and cuisines. With than spirit, I am willing to explore new horizons and try new things as I think change is the only constant in life. This is why I have signed up with couch surfing as I see it as a chance to see the world and meet new people and hopefully welcome them as friends in my home.
PHILOSOPHY
Hate is an a word in my own vocabulary, but if there is anything that comes close to that is injustice, racism, and social inequality. I must add that I am a loving mom, and my 2 pre-teen boys are the center of my world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far, I have had a very positive experience with couch surfing through which I made very good people and friends. In fact, I think this experience of opening up to people that you may not know and welcome them or be welcomed by them has been most rewarding in terms of finding and meeting true friends.
Interests
I have always had an open heart and mind and I am constantly learning about people, myself, and life in general. At 40+, I decided to go back to schol and complete my Master's Degree in math and foreign languages. I speak 4 langues and get by in 2 others. My main interest is scuba diving and swimming and beach surfing. I am inspired by ocean as I always compare it to love: deep, eternal, infinity.
I also like to read books in various subjects, including philosophy.

Music, Movies, and Books
I grew up with music, particularly French songs like Adamo, Jacques Brel, Moustaki, Joe Dassin, Mireille Mathieu etc. I read in French, Dutch, English, and Arabic.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Niagra Falls in both New York, USA, and Ontario, Canada. There may other beautiful places that have left an indelible impression on my, such as Portofino in Italy, Bali in Indonesia, and our most beautiful sahara in my country of origin Algeria.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a mathematician by education and profession, but I learned that one does not live only by math and various calculations. The best school in my opinion is the human experience and direct interaction and share our fantastic human experience that happens only one in our life time. In doing so, we can extend our life experience many folds and should I say live many lives! To all my future friends I would like to say: teach me, share your experience with me. I am open!
