ABOUT ME

Well, I studied a while. Over seven years. So it is not a career I am looking for. That I do know for sure. Everything else I still have to explore. Writing is my destiny. Since being a young boy I wrote articles and stories. What I love beside that is travelling. I probably had the most beautiful moments of my life during my stays in Krakow, Bucuresti or Poznan. And I often think to myself it is quite sad, that not everything I own, fits in a backpack. There is so much more to see, let's go.

A ship is safe at the port, but it is not built to stay there. So ... cast off!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am here, because I want to meet real people during my stay in Poland. What is life like in Szczecin, Warszawa or Wroclaw? Tell me, so that I can tell the world ... or at least Germany. During my time in Szczecin I will write a blog for a German newspaper.Poland unfortunately seems very far away for German. It is not! Hopefully somebody out there will help me to spread this message ...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I have no experiences with couchsurfing. But a couple of friends recommended it to me. That is why I want to try it on my own now.

兴趣

Damn, too much to mention. First of all people, their stories, ideas and dreams. Then of course it is music, that makes the world go round. I still buy records, real records, called vinyl. Soul, Funk, everything. Beside that I read a lot, preferably short stories. You will always find at least two newspapers in my backpack. And whenever there is a remain along my road, I have to explore it. I love sunshine, dreams and opened windows of long-distance trains, which seems to become more and more a rarity, at least in Germany.

音乐、电影和书籍

There is a German author I adore. Finn-Ole Heinrich. But I do not know, whether someone translated his books into foreign languages so far. I love the stories of Marek Hlasko. Clueso, a German songwriter, is way underrated. Check out his songs. If you like it funky ... try Hypnotic Brass Ensemble or Lee Fields. I am not that much into movies, to be honest. But I like movies of Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

There was this rusty hulk, right in the centre of Bucharest. Me and my girlfriend got in there, had a seat and just smiled at each other. We just found something, we were not looking for. That is life like it should be, I guess.
