About Me
All we have is our time on Earth, how we spend it is what defines us.
My philosophy is to enjoy life by learning what are the important things in it. In my case, meeting new people who have been living unknown experiences for me is fascinating and a very valuable source of knowledge. I'm easy going, tidy and happy to help.
When I was 21 I stopped attending University and dedicated my life to training Martial Arts, which have been a part of me since I was 11. I can say that Karate was my school and Aikido my university. I've been very lucky with my masers, they trained and taught me the traditional ways of these Japanese disciplines. I was never very fond of competition, I joined some during the years, but only as a complement. My aim in the training is to better myself by understanding who I am and who surrounds me.
In April 2014 I did a fantastic trip on my own, my first experience away from home for six months. I lived 3 months in Japan, almost three in Hawaii and a week in Las Vegas. I met so many awesome people and went to so many incredible places that I had to do it again.
In March 2015 I left home again without a fix plan to go back. I chose Europe. Since then I've visited Spain (Malaga, Murcia, Alicante, Barcelona), Italy (Rome, Venice), Amsterdam, Paris, UK (Bath, Southampton, Telford, Bernamouth), Ireland (Limerick, Belfast), Helsinki, and Russia (Moscow, St. Petersburg). And I've lived in Madrid, London, Askeaton (Ireland), Dublin and in Japan, in Hashimoto and Tokorozawa.
These experiences have been invaluable and will stay with me for ever.
Couchsurfing is a fantastic way of making this list grow and learn from many different people as I continue my journey.
Today I-m living in Montreux, Switzerland, still exploring Aikido.
In my many jobs I have learned some useful skills I'll be happy to share with my hosts such as cooking, gardening, organizing stock, clearing indoor and outdoor areas, basic carpentry and harvesting fruits.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I was recommended this website because it's a good place to meet new awesome people who are open minded and willing to share a little of their life with me, as much as I will share mine. Since I'm a traveler now, it also seems to be the perfect group to belong to.
