Overview
About Me
I’m a very active and easy going person who loves meeting new people. I am open minded and am looking to make new friends from all over.
I really enjoy sharing experiences, listening to others and learning from them. I'm very interested in different cultures and ways of thinking and seeing the world.
I'm very respectful, honest and considerate and I am a good problem solver.
I love trying new things (especially food and learning new recipes) and am very curious in general.
I am Spanish and am currently living in New Caledonia for several months and plan to explore as much as possible of Oceania and its many islands! (It's my first time on this side of the world and I am planning on making the most of it!)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
All the people I have ever met who are part of the couchsurfing community are always awesome people so I have decided to try it myself!
I love travelling and meeting new people. Up to now I had always traveled with someone or to visit someone but I have decided to see what travelling on my own is like and I believe couchsurfing is probably the best way to do it, so I don't only see the place and meet travelers but I also meet people from the there or who live there which makes the trip way more interesting.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to many kinds of music: rock, indie, rap, hip-hop, reggae...
I live movies that tell a story and make you think and reflect on things. I don't like scary movies.
The Butterfly Effect, City of God, Inception, Catch me if you can, Palmeras en la Nieve, Celda 211
I am lately making an effort to read in French and Italian to work on the languages so I have been reading "less good" books that are easier to read. A Thousand Splendid Suns, The Help, The Wave
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
For the past 4 years I have been doing volunteer interpreting for several NGOs yearly meetings in the summers. It's extremely interesting since I end up in places I would never had thought of going to (like very remote poor places in Indonesia or the Philippines) with a group of between 30-100 people from all other the world of which most have never left their country, or even city, before and I would not have had a chance to speak to, share and learn from in a different context.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach Spanish and English (possibly French too) and would like to practice my French and Italian.
Can teach you many recipes and want to learn more interesting international/exotic recipes
I am learning acroyoga which I would love to practice or learn more of
And of course I'm very happy to share about my own experiences and culture and am very interested in others'
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am very passionate about cooking so I'd be very happy to cook a nice Spanish (or international) meal for you and/or teach you how to.
A nice chat in Spanish, English, French or Italian.
Travelling tips for Spain or Europe.
