About Me
Well, let's see. I was born in Germany and lived my whole life in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I study Economics and want to become a researcher.
I work as a Teaching and Research Assistant at the university. I like travelling (obviously) and talking about nerdy stuff with new people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've never had any experience with CS. I do love the idea of doing it, and I'll surely surf anytime soon (and host, but that'll require having my own place first haha). For me it seems to be an awesome way to meet new people, and to speak new languages, something I love doing.
Interests
I love learning about new stuff. A lot. And I love sharing the stuff I've learned. As I mentioned earlier, one thing I like to learn in particular are languages.
I also like music (I sing and play guitar) and reading. Yeah, and I love maps. And board games. And Flags. If "Fun with Flags" was a program, I'd watch it (?).
When I'm traveling, I love to walk around and see new things. I don't like going to nightclubs, but I do enjoy having a drink every now and then.

Music, Movies, and Books
I think no one could list all their tastes in Movies, Music and Books. I always say to myself that all music/films/books are awesome until proven wrong.
That being said, I do seem to like alternative/indie and metal a lot more than other genres of music. On the top of my head, I can think of System of a Down, Rammstein, Oomph!, Metallica, Linkin Park, Slipknot, Korn, Nirvana, Muse, Radiohead, R.E.M., The Cooper Temple Clause, Blood Red Shoes, Kasabian and Bloc Party, although I'm sure I'm leaving out many musicians I like.
My favorite Movie would have to be Scott Pilgrim, with Piled Higher and Deeper as a close second. I tend to like historical dramas, though.
Books, let's see, lately I've been reading mostly historic and science divulgation books. But I do like historical and crime novels. My favorite crime novelist would have to be Agatha Christie, and my favorite book of hers, Ten little niggers.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hmmmm. That's hard. It depends a lot on what you consider amazing. One thing I proudly hold close to my chest, even though it's not very impressive, is walking 3 km at 3400 km above sea, from Iruya to San Isidro, in the Argentine North. That was VERY hard, but it totally paid off, the scenery during the walk was breathtaking.
