About Me
Hi there! I'm a positive, adventurous and fun girl from Russia! In 2016 I spent my year abroad in the USA, in 2018 I went to China to work as an English teacher. Now I'm back in Russia and planning a trip to Europe.
From 19th of May to about 26th of May me and my boyfriend are planning on staying in Rome. We're so excited to see the city and meet new people! We're travelling on a budget so would like to find someone who could host us. We're very kind, fun and polite young people:)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The world is the place we have to share with each other. I truly believe there are no borders in the world other than in our own minds. I've always been inspired by people because they are so interesting. Every single person I have met in my life taught me something special and I appreciate this so much.
And isn't it cool just to meet new friends and discover new places with them? The life full of NEW is the real life for me and that's why I am on Couchsurfing :)))

Music, Movies, and Books
My fav and the only true love is an Australian folk, soul and R&B musician Matt Corby. I also like The Kooks, Tame Impala, Arcade Fire, M83, MGMT, Bombay Bicycle Club and of course beautiful The Smiths and Marvin Gaye.
I was majoring in English Literature, so I read lots of books but my favorites are On the Road by Jack Kerouac and William Saroyan's short stories. I wrote my thesis on multicaltural aspect of Saroyan's works this year.
I like different kinds of movies, of such directors as Noah Baumbach, Wes Anderson and Xavier Dolan!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I flew in an air balloon and this was the first flight of the pilot after a long break, so the landing didn't go that smooth haha. We landed on some wooden cabin's roof. The air balloon basket was rotated like 45 degrees, so all 4 of us turned into a huge chaotic pile of people inside the basket. But we laughed so much when we could step the ground again.

What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share a lot with you.
Stories about my adventures in different countries. How my brother and I broke a rented bike in Barcelona and fixed it with the help of a scrunchy, how it took 5 flights for me to get from Russia to the US, how I was longboarding down the hill road in Madison, WI and Chicago, IL, how every single person I met in different American cities turned out to be a musician by coincidence, how I was sleeping outside under the pouring rain in Puerto Rico and was zip-lining in the rain forest, etc.!
I can also share my constant good mood. You will never see me in an ill humor, truly!
I can share my music with you (I can't think of a person who wouldn't like my playlist choice, haha)
