About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Current mission in life is to learn as much about the world as possible. That's definitely why I chose such an international major since undergrad and also why I take all available opportunities to travel overseas. I'm definitely still learning.
ABOUT ME
I do like to go out with friends for either dancing, movies, beach, camping and a whole host of other activities. Even though I enjoy people, my occupation usually leaves me without social interaction for loads of time. Used to hate it, but have now gotten used to it. If you crash at my place, I look forward to learning about where u're from even if you're American---so much diversity even in our country, right?
I've been speaking Chinese for more than 10 years now and generally am a bit of an Asia-phile--lived in Korea too, in addition to Taiwan and China. Even though my heart's in Asia, I've been to Europe and Australia as well. Haven't done Latin America or Africa yet. Haha...work doesn't usually bring me there but that can always change in the future.
I love my family and by that, I mean extended family in addition to nuclear family. It means I like keeping people close to me over long periods of time...that extends to good friends too.
Not a major partier but I don't judge and can adjust.
PHILOSOPHY
Live life to the fullest each and every day; encourage others when possible
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So I was introduced to couchsurfing by my downstairs neighbors and another friend. I soon signed up and have been happy to accept quite a few guests while I was living in San Diego. Some of them of show up as references, some don't. It was always cool to hang out with them, exchange stories about our lives and journeys and just hang out. Best times were when my guests visits coincided with fun stuff here in town..i.e. a house party or the world cup. Had fun cooking with w/ guests too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Slept on the great wall off China; chased kangaroos through a homestay's backyard down under; swam with sharks.
