About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Getting back into Couchsurfing scene - I moved from Toronto to Detroit and ready to explore Detroit with the coolest people on earth, Couchsurfers!

Living and dancing!

ABOUT ME

The most important thing to know about me is I am very open minded. I love to experience new things and I am extremely easy going, like Sunday morning. I will try anything twice (minimum), simply because I am very curious by nature.

I am also very opinionated and love to share my opinions. However, I love it even more when my opinions change, especially if they are changed by other people.

I never take life too serious, although it may seem like I do from time to time. This is because I cannot shut my brain off, it is constantly spinning. I simply enjoy observing the world around me and the people that touch it.

Most importantly I'm just trying to figure out life. The world is a giant playground and I am making my way through it, little by little, and city by city.

I am an architect/urbanist and so I love to walk around the city, I like to think of myself as an Urban Sociologist. I love to read, travel and meet new people, talk, listen, write, dance, eat, smile, philosophize, dream, laugh and enjoy practically everything life has to offer.

I have traveled across the poorest country in the Western hemisphere and through the richest countries in the world. Traveling, by far, has been the greatest influence on my education. It has liberated me into a life of endless curiosity. In the end, I simply look forward to enjoying and learning from the time I spend with the people I meet.

Some things to know about me.

- I love food
- I enjoy the inconveniences of everyday life
- My two favourite websites are TED.com and The Economist (after couchsurfing, of course)
- I recycle
- I do Yoga
- I love the night
- I Smile
- I love to dance, a lot. Mostly Latin, but if there's music, I'm dancing!

PHILOSOPHY

Life happens, enjoy it!

Smile and the world smiles back.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I became very active while I was living in Florence, Italy (2011). I would host dinners at my flat, show people around the city, attend CS events, create CS events and hosted some surfers.

I will do anything and everything I can to give back to the CS community. It is not a free place to stay but a place of free cultural exchange.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted and been hosted. I've made dinners at my flat and created events for other CS'ers to enjoy. Overall, CS has become one of the greatest experiences in my travels, I can't imagine life without it.
