ABOUT ME

Grew up in Washington and went to school at WWU where I got my degree in International Business. I spent a few years selling mobile phones, then quit and moved to South Korea to teach English for a year. It turned out to be the best decision I've ever made. I finished my year and backpacked around Asia for 7 months before returning home.

I learned some things abroad. I learned about other cultures, other ways of thinking, and (most importantly) other people. I also learned about myself: my strengths, weaknesses, passions. Traveling was, for me, the catalyst that has brought me a great deal of confidence and happiness.

I've hosted several times, and also met some surfers to hang out. I surfed for the first time in Kota Belud, Malaysia and had an amazing time!

Slept on the streets in Nice, went skydiving in Washington, trekked through the Borneo jungle in Malaysia, rode a motorcycle for the first time on a solo, a multi-day trip into the Mongolian countryside, hitch-hiked the Pamir highway.
