我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I lived for over two years in Nicaragua with the Peace Corps and then travelled all over Latin America for 6 months. I met so many amazing people through Couchsurfing and loved every minute of it. I got involved with CS because a friend of mine was a host in our little town and I absolutely love not only the ideals that CS promotes but also the people I've met so far through him. It's been an awesome experience seeing new places and getting to know more exciting people and cultures, and I'm excited to see it continue.

Viví mas que 2 años en Nicaragua con el Cuerpo de Paz y después viajé por Latinoamerica por 6 meses. Conocí a tanta gente increíble y me encantó cada minuto de la aventura. Empecé con CS a través de un amigo viviendo en mi pueblito que ofrecía su casa a muchos viajeros y me quedé encantado no sólo con los ideales que promueve CS pero también con las personas que me ha presentado. Hasta el momento ha sido una experiencia incomparable y quiero continuar mi aventura y conocer a muchos lugares, personas, y culturas más.

I like talking to people about our intrests rather than having them read a list of mine. But since it's required, some of my million interests would be: meeting new people, sports, going out, linguistics, traveling, music, science, adventuring, just hanging out with my friends, and making my parents laugh.

Prefiero platicar con otros a cerca de mis intereses en vez de obligarlos a leer una lista de ellos. Pero debido al hecho que es un requisito, algunos son: conociendo a personas nuevas, los deportes, saliendo a bailar, la linguistica, viajando, la música, las ciencias, aventurando, chiliando con los broderes, y dando risa a mis padres.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The moments that are most important for me are the ones in which I take a step back, look around, take in the atmosphere, and think, "Wow, my life is absolutely amazing. I unbelievably lucky." Just trying to make that happen as often as possible.

Los momentos más importantes para mi son los en que tomo un momento, miro a mi alrededor, absorbo el ambiente, y pienso, "Wow, mi vida es absolutamente asombrosa. Yo soy increíblemente afortunado." Yo vivo tratando de hacer que eso pase tan a menudo como sea posible.
