About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm an adventurous guy with a good heart. I love traveling and meeting new people. It's in my blood. I have loved to travel since I was a kid, and traveling the world has been a dream of mine for so long. I really like learning about cultures, learning languages and experiencing new things. I'm an EMT/firefighter as well as a marketing manager. I enjoy music, outdoor stuff, kayaking, photography, cultures, etc. I once heard a quote that said that 'strangers are just friends we haven't met yet." I truly live my life that way. I'm probably the nicest guy you'll come across. I hope to share many stories, experiences, etc. with those friends I meet along the way and I hope that you can share yours with me as well.
PHILOSOPHY
"Life is nothing but a dream, and if we are artists,
then we can create our life with love, and our dream becomes a masterpiece of art." - Don Miguel Ruiz
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm couch surfing because it's always better when you're traveling to meet people. I love meeting new people, sharing stories, adventures, etc. I've always opened my home to strangers who are good people with good hearts. Someone once said that strangers are just friends you haven't met yet, so I hope when I'm traveling that I may stay with people and make new friends too. Created new adventures and new memories.

Great Book Recommendation: No Barriers by Erik Weihenmayer
It's an incredible book that shares the message that what is within you is stronger than what is in your way. It's about Erik and his desire (and successful attempt) to kayak the entire Grand Canyon in the United States. What makes this unique is that Erik is completely blind. In addition to kayaking the Grand Canyon solo and successfully, he's also the first blind person to successful summit Mount Everest, the highest mountain in the world at 29,029 feet (8,848 meters). He never desired to climb the mountain to break a record, but rather the need to prove to himself what he can accomplish and hopefully motivate and elevate others to do the same. It's a fantastic read and inspirational! I highly recommend it.
