About Me
Hi Couchsurfers !
I am Nam from France and I'm currently working as a junior consulting engineer in Toulouse.
I was in a double degree program with my Graduate Engineering School in France and I specialized in Electrical Engineering at the Technical University Darmstadt in Germany.
Talking about studies and work can be very boring so I will stop there.
About me, I can describe myself as a friendly and easy-going person. I could say that I'm a very open-minded guy who like to meet new people everywhere I am and discover other cultures.
I do like sports such as swimming, playing basket-ball, tennis table. In short I love sports in general. I also have been practising dance like Salsa and Rock for about 2 years. If you are really interested, I could teach you some dance moves, hoping that I would not have forgotten by then.
I came in Toulouse almost one year ago and I really appreciate the environment and the people there. The summer is very tough but still I really enjoyed the proximity with nature. For instance, hiking, canoeing, skiing or even going to the beach.
Also at the office I usually go for a swim or a run with my colleagues and it happens to me to play football on Friday with them.
As you can see I do like my stay in Toulouse.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think the best way to learn the culture of the country is to visiting it and to meet locals. Living in someone's house should be one of the best thing to know the customs and habits of the country. That's why I'm on Couchsurfing. Furthermore being a junior engineer, it seems obvious that I can't afford myself a five-star hostel wherever I travel :p
