ABOUT ME

I'm a twenty something female, self-employed, very motivated, can be stubborn and controling (which I'll naturally blame on being Taurus) American, Jewish (russian descent) & Italian...at least on paper. I can get very loud, often times obnoxious or vulgur, I'm not good at distinguishing the line between funny & crude; bad with manners, uncomfortable with formality in which cases I will overcompensate by being overly cautious and careful. An introvert with an extroverts personality. Jump in all directions verbally but can usually find the thread and come full circle. Could happily live in squalor though appreciate flowers in a vase and fresh foods. My standards for living are incredibly low; hence I'm easily satisfied. Don't drink often, but sometimes, other substances again not often but sometimes and in context. Prefer honesty to kindness; prefer honesty to brutality. Diplomatic, have a hard time really getting to know people well though this is all I'm after. Can be very entertaining and animated; can be very lathargic and quiet. I love solitude and work to know myself as well as possible and am pleased with how this is coming along. Simultaneously I'm very excited and very daunted (haunted?) by life.

PHILOSOPHY

Hmmm think I got into that too soon...basically; All I ever want to do with my life is say something I will never be able to say. All if ever need to do is understand I will never be able to say it. All I ever will do is keep trying to say it.

...Back to the subjective/Objective dillemma, I want to know how much of what I see and experience is 'real', I want to know how many 'real' things in life I cannot or do not or will never see and experience. I want to know you, and if this is not possible I want to sit with you and for it to be comfortable and okay that we might never really know each other. I want to skin myself and crawl out of my body and look at it and laugh a little and then put it back on and dance with you. Eventually I'm interested in retaining a childs sense of adventure while cultivating an adults sense responsibility to approach seriously whatever mischeif a child is liable to uncover.

Books: Gustave Flaubert, Herman Hesse, Tao, Edward Gorey, George Bernard Shaw, Milan Kundera, Joseph Campbell, Camus, Dostoevsky, Vladmir Nabokov, and Kenneth Patchen.
Movies; 'Happiness', 'Waking Life'..hmm I don't have a VCR right now or TV so I don't know many films...I love Quentin Tarantino, I liked 'Munich', oh I liked 'What Dreams May come', most Tim Burton stuff...'Reqiuem for a Dream'..hmm, want to watch some movies with me?
