I am a 23-year-old university student at Kyoto Uni, studying sociology. I did a year abroad at University of Bristol, England, last year. Since I came back to Japan, I've lived in a shared student dorm.

I'm a friendly person and love to talk with people. Very adaptable, curious and pretty easy-going, but also reliable.

As I currently live in a student dorm, I cannot host people at my place. But I'd love to meet up show you around if you ever come to this lovely city Kyoto!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I often travel by myself and I like it because I can go anywhere I like freely, but sometimes it could be a little boring to have nobody to talk with or have meals with... It would be very nice to meet people at the places I visit and share time together!
Also on Couchsurfing, you can have chances to know the local culture, which is what I really want to.

Interests

I love travel, especially backpacking.
I'm interested in different cultures in the world, which is one of the reasons why I love to travel to other countries.

I like music and I play the guitar and the drums a little. Love to go to lives, both big concerts / festivals and gigs in small live houses.

I like to cook, eat and drink. I always do want to try any kind of local food/drink which I haven't eaten or drunk.

Other random things I like: driving, dance (used to do lock dance), frogs, cats, carnivorous plants, beer, whisky, movies&TV dramas, learning language, summer, beach, spicy food, ruins, local markets, bars&entertainment districts, alleys....

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Japanese rock music (my favorite bands: L'arc～en～Ciel / LUNA SEA / [Alexandros] / The Oral Cigarettes) and want to know more (especially rock) music in other countries.

I love movies and TV dramas, and often watch western ones. My favorites are Trainspotting, Titanic and Skins S3&4.
