ABOUT ME

I recently graduated from Portland State University and am currently working full time at an established health care provider: Kaiser Permanente.

I love to meet new people and hear all their stories of where they're from, their travel stories, or just comparing differences in our culture. I am very easy going and an extroverted person. I love getting to know others over a beer or two...or three...or four...haha I love to make jokes and have a good time in whatever environment I am in.

Most recently I just traveled to Asia-Pacific, exploring the east coast of Australia and the north island of New Zealand. I spent over 6 months there and got bit by the travel bug hard!

PHILOSOPHY

I live for the experiences and memories not the tangible items that will lose its value in a few years. Experience and memories will last a life time and make great stories to tell others. Those two aspects will help you connect with others better and open up more opportunities for you.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have a nice quaint apartment in the heart of Portland, Oregon. I have a very comfortable couch to sleep on, but most of the time I will give up my bed and sleep on the couch; contingent on my schedule. The kitchen and refrigerator is usually stocked with food, snacks, and beverages as well as kitchen utilities to cook.

I have wireless high speed internet so you can connect with your friends and family back home. If you just want to take a break and lounge around, I have a TV with tons of movies and TV shows for you to kick back and relax to.

I would say my apartment is pretty high-tech since I am pretty geeky/nerdy; so if you need help w/ your gadgets and I'm not busy, I'll be more than happy to help you out! :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had many families and friends open up their homes to me while I was traveling in Australia and New Zealand. So as a traveller, I know how precious this accommodation is as well as knowing a local to help get around is much better than falling for tourist traps.

Aside from travelling, I love all sports and in my spare time I spend it in the beautiful outdoors of Oregon. Which includes, but not limited to: Hiking, Backpacking, Golfing, Riding my bike, BBQing, bar hopping, and many many more!

I have many hobbies, but the ones that prominently describe me are: Technology/Electronics (Computers, gadgets, etc) and Photography.
