I'm a 26-year old writer that makes her living creating content for various NGO causes (housing, consumer rights, immigration issues, LGBT equality). I'm overly attached to my bicycle and I am an avid cake-baker.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As an extrovert, I replenish my energy by meeting people and getting to know them. When I plan my travel itinerary, I don't find visiting ancient buildings nearly as exciting as chatting with locals.

Couchsurfing also shows the day-to-day reality of any culture - and by that I mean the average living conditions, the real cuisine normal people prefer to eat and the actual use of leisure time.

Real human stories are best told not in fancy tourist resorts, they demand to be talked about at the kitchen table - to which I will bring wine and cakes. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In summer of 2015 I traveled 500 kms by bike in region of South Moravia, Czech Republic during three consecutive days. Best weekend ever, guys.

Discouting all my academic knowledge of mass communication, media theory and mathematical statistics, there is a fair share of know-how about content production in almost any form (poem, story, audiotrack, video, blog). I can give you a few quick tips or inspirational-slash-sardonic quotes about both.

My more hands-on expertise is with wide variety of cake-baking and cooking in general (mostly fish, white meat and vegetables). Cooking and especially local cuisine is something I'm extremely interested in and any lessons thrown my way would be greatly appreciated!
