About Me

I was born and raised in Thailand and I am a 100 percent Thai in nationality but with some traces of Chinese in my ethnicity. I am currently (2015) a second year college student at Meiji University, Japan, in the Global-Japanese department (I am happy to explain what I study if anyone is interested ;-)). I have been raised in a big family consisted of uncountable members and more than half of them are Japanese. I spent a year in Las Vegas during my elementary school years and that is probably how I obtained English. Though I have said that I am fluent in English and Japanese I still consider myself a learner. Both languages are still yet to reach perfection and I love to be corrected when mistakes are made. I put Greek and French as languages that I am learning, but to be honest I should actually put them as the languages that I am interested to learn. Nonetheless, I assume that by the time someone came over to check my profile I would have learnt something already.

Personality and Preferences.
I am quite confident that I am a open-minded person especially when it comes to eating and sleeping. Up until now there had never been anything that I could not eat, and I dare say that there isn't anything that I can't eat as long as it is a food and do not contain any harmful substances and yes, I have eaten a bug before :). However, I do love to eat good food ,and to be honest , I loved everything that I have eaten up until now (one exception would be the Harry Potter assorted jelly beans). About sleeping, I can literally sleep anywhere, and I mean it! It is compulsory for any man in my country to serve the country by enrolling into the military. Though there are many ways to do it, at the end of the day everyone of us will have to face several difficulties and sleeping places is one of them. I have slept on just a thin plastic sheet that separated me from the dirt ground in a forest up on the mountain and despite being a little cold, I find it very comfy after a long day of hard training. If this is still not convincing enough, I have also slept in a freezing point cold toilet at the summit of Mt. Fuji. Having said all of this, I will still be very grateful if I shall be offered a comfy place to sleep, but I would not complain and still be as grateful no matter what I shall be offered;) I guess that this would apply to almost every other things. I don't have much preferences and is fine with pretty much anything. what I would aim for is more of learning new things and I would easily adapt:) I think all this is because I have grew up in several places and in a family with a vast diversity.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet people and gain experiences from the local at wherever I go.

Last year, when I decided that I want to travel to places around the world, backpacking was the first idea that came up to my mind, and Couchsurfing was the recommended to me by my friend. When I first heard about how we can go stay at people places for free I must admit that I was very suspicious, but after I check it up, I thought that this is definitely worth trying. I still can't say anything deeper until I actually try it.

I live with my family now and I don't have place of my own, but I am thinking of becoming a host sometimes in the future
