Hi CouchSurfers! I was born and raised in China and went to US for my college study. Almost one year ago, instead of continuing my junior year study at my great college, I decided to take a GAP year. Gotta say this is the best decision I have ever made. I had a great time exploring real world and, of course, traveling around. I love sharing and exchanging experiences with others and never get tired of making new friends from different backgrounds. Culture shock is my favorite thing in the world. I speak Chinese and English fluently but in case you don't, I have a good friend called Google Translate.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I read a book when I was little, and the author talked about how she couchsurfed in Europe. I found the idea was excellent but I was too young to make it come true at that time. I also have a couple friends who are studying abroad in Europe had great experiences couchsurfing. Now, finally, I myself got the time and chance to try this genius way to make friends, deeply immerse myself in the local culture and try different life styles. The world never fails to amaze me.
