Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Staying afloat.
ABOUT ME
I work for NOAA as a seafloor mapper and GIS analyst. I love my work, my dogs, cooking, gardening and weaving. I've traveled all over the world and I'd like to facilitate anyone else who loves to travel.
PHILOSOPHY
Religion and government are required to manage the mass of humanity, but spirit and intuition must guide the individual. Water is the source of our creation and its pollution will be the source of our demise as a species. Each of our actions should come from a conscious understanding of the earth and its complex communities. When you can no longer figure out the right thing to do, have a cup a coffee, read a book and plant a tree.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I offer a couch, a wood stove, and good conversation. Also coffee.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Have I couchsurfed? Does '60s in Haight-Ashbury count? I've crashed on a lot of sofas of unknown origin and possession. Slept on the floor in mud huts along the Ganges; slept on rope beds in jungles of Bengal; slept on a lot of boats and trains. Couchsurfing is a way of life for me.
Interests
Water, fresh and salt. Mud, sand and gravel at -300 m undersea. Octopodes. Good books. Good wine. Weaving.
