Overview
About Me
I am Ghanaian born in Brooklyn, New York and a recent college graduate interest in exploring the world, learning about different cultures and meeting new people.
I am extremely relaxed and always cool to go with the flow. I always have crazy and fun stories about my childhood in Ghana and my experiences traveling - so make sure to ask me. I also F***ING love soccer/football, especially MAN UTD so I'm always will to catch a game and talk trash about other teams.
I studied anthropology and public health so I'm always interested in becoming a local everywhere I visit. I love to travel but I don't like feeling like a tourist I'd rather always chill with locals, grab a few beers, share life histories and if there something cool I must see, I'm always down for it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I very much enjoy meeting people from other cultures and sharing in cultural exchange. I feel these experiences make me a more knowledgeable and well-rounded person.
I also think the best way to see any place is through the eyes of the locals so I hope my future hosts can always help me achieve that.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music - I listen to different kinds of music depending on my mood, interest and the effect I wish to create.
Movies - I enjoy movies that stimulate the mind or create a positive emotion; I especially enjoy the ones that will have you thinking for days and seeking closure of all kinds. Oh and I also thoroughly enjoy comic book movies a lot.
Books - I like reading murder my mysteries or books with a dope heroine like Lisbeth in the "Girl with the dragon tattoo" series. I occasionally enjoy life altering and self reflective books as well.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I won a fellowship to travel the world for a whole year studying local health NGOs and their impacts on communities. I also climbed table mountain in South Africa. Machu Pichu, Laguna 69, Colca Canyon and spent 3 days in a cargo ship in Peru. I've danced and Jumped with Maasai worries in Tanzania to see who was the manliest...
Teach, Learn, Share
I especially enjoy learning about human relationships; the dynamics of society including culture, constructs, government, education; human rights for the marginalized in society, travel and health.
I don't know everything but if you'd like to learn to understand cultures from anthropological perspectives I can always help. I love to share and have good conversations about cultures and societies.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can always share food haha... I can share stories and I am fluent in Akan (Twi) so I'm always willing to teach people my native language and share my culture.
