Hi! I’m Japanese and used to live in Dublin, Ireland, during my university years. I’ve also worked in Bangkok, Thailand. I love traveling, exploring new things, meeting new people, and learning languages. I’m passionate about animals and yoga, too!

I’m open-minded and outgoing. I speak Japanese (of course) and English, and I’ve been studying Spanish. I hope to open a business in Europe and raise a family there someday.

Currently, I live with my husband and our dog, Noa.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I’m in Japan, I often feel a bit “dead inside”—it’s too peaceful and lacks stimulation. That’s why I talked to my husband and decided to join Couchsurfing. Meeting people is incredibly valuable to me. I’ve met so many wonderful individuals from around the world, and they’ve truly changed my life. I still want to experience that, even while I’m in Japan.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 19, I decided to study abroad in Ireland, but since I only had my mom and we didn’t have enough money, I worked incredibly hard. I took on three jobs, working about 15 hours a day from 6 AM to midnight. I managed to save enough for school, accommodation, and everything else.

That experience taught me strength, planning skills, patience, and the value of hard work.

I’m skilled at handcrafting and have been practicing yoga for a while. I even have a teaching license!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would love to share my Japanese culture, including traditional cooking and insights into my favorite customs. I can also help with language practice, whether it’s Japanese, English, or even some Spanish! As a yoga instructor, I can lead a session to help you relax and unwind. Additionally, I enjoy handcrafting and would be happy to create something together. I’m excited to share travel stories and experiences from my adventures around the world, and I’m always open to learning from my hosts as well!
