I am a 54 year old woman living in a small, very beautiful part of Idaho. We are surrounded by the Beaver head range of the rocky mountains. I was born here, raised my three sons here and have enjoyed a eventful life. The population is 3112. The one thing unique about Salmon is we are 150 miles from any interstate. You have to WANT to come here.I believe that is a plus because it keeps us small and a lot of the outside problems are not so prevalent. If you like the outdoors it is a great source of fishing,hunting,whitewater rafting,hiking, and camping.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couch surfing because I have a son who lives in Seattle and he has told me about people he has met from around the world. I am a very sociable person and I love the stories surrounding peoples lives.

Interests

I am a cook in a restaurant that is also a micro brewery owned by an English couple who brought their talent for making beer to a very secluded part of the Northwest. My interests are whatever the day may bring. I am a simple person and I live simple. But I do like people. If you want to count the camping, hiking, and fishing ...then yeh those are also my interests.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music; Rock, Metal, Bluegrass, blues. Movies;The Godfather series, I'm a Star Wars nerd, The Lord of The Rings Trilogy but the books are foremost. And I like dark comedies, but no horror, no gore, and NO zombie anything (sorry I know it's a trend but they can eat brains without me.) Books;I like Science Fiction, Fantasy, How to books and I'm really enjoying reading a lot of Biographies right now.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The one amazing thing I have done is raise three wonderful sons. They do not live in Salmon but I think of them daily and converse with them whenever their lives permit.
