About Me

I lead a simple, earthy life, cherishing animals, art, and martial arts. Integrity and virtues hold sway in my world, alongside the beauty of sunrises, sunsets, and gentle breezes. Plus, I have a soft spot for organic vegan chocolate.

My joys include crafting tasty, uncomplicated meals, indulging in art and craft, bonding with my pets, reading, and relishing solitary moments under the stars.

I share my home with dogs (and a couple of standoffish cats), a couple of which are lively youngsters eager to meet new faces. Don't be surprised if they "borrow" your shoes for a game—they're just being friendly!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This is a way for me to meet new people, as I love being alone so I do not seek out people.

Here I can share a bit of time, and little conversation, and a lovely piece of this land of Botswana with others from this beautiful planet we live on.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My beautiful earth place, The Land.

The village of Mokatse, which is where I live. This village is 30 kms away from Gaborone, the capital of Botswana. It might not be the typical "romantic" or "iron age" village life you think might be here in Africa, so come along to see what real Botswana semi-rural village life is like.

The bugs and critters that come hand in hand with living close to nature.

Maybe a visit to Gaborone, a climb up Kgale Hill, a visit to the Gaborone Game Reserve, and a meander around Main Mall. (Time and schedule depending)

I will accept requests for just a few days. If you do wish to stay longer, then we can do WorkAway exchange.

For more info on the place and where you will be sleeping over, and if you are interested in more than Couchsurfing, visit my WorkAway profile for how you can contribute in a different way. https://www.workaway.info/en/host/474447635724
