About Me

I love to travel, and like to meet different travelers. Please kindly include your arrival and departure time in your request to stay.

I have a passion for ancient buildings and canals. I walked on the Great Wall in China, the Forbidden City in Beijing, the Pagoda in Xian. I loved the shrines in Japan and Korea. The temples in Thailand are amazing.

Royal Palace in Amsterdam is beautiful. The historical buildings in Brussels and Bruges are unforgettable. Cathedrals, Basilicas, Palaces, and old Castles.....Italy is beautiful! Really love Alberobello. Can’t get enough of the Colosseum and Pantheon in Rome. Pompeii is.....unimaginable. Venice is breathtakingly beautiful. Budapest at night from the Fisherman’s Bastion is magnificent. Vienna is an amazing city, has so much to see and do....

Love the Old City in Israel, it's so rich in history and culture. A trip to the dead sea is a must! Jordan, especially Petra -- you need to be there, the place is beyond words. Another amazing place -- Egypt! Envy the Egyptians, they are blessed with such rich heritage especially the Karnak temple.

Food is another passion of mine. I am intrigued by how our culture, traditions, and beliefs influence our food and cuisine. I am certainly interested in insights about various culinary traditions!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Cultures and traditions are fascinating; the best way to learn about your country, your lives, believes, food, the do's and don'ts in your land is to meet you.

From the hosts, I managed a glimpse at how the locals live, and the hosts can tell me a lot more than I can read about their cities. I treasured every moment the hosts spent with me; they talked about their food, their lives, their family, the history of their city and country.

From the guests I hosted, I learnt a lot more about other countries and their culture. I learnt to respect our differences, understand their priorities. CS taught me how to give graciously and accept thankfully.

I look forward to meeting more people, from all parts of the world.

Join the CS!

It's not easy to walk into a stranger's home with my luggage; not knowing what to expect.

It's equally not easy to have a stranger walk into my home; and all I know about you is from your profile (so, having more information in your profile and more detail in your request is crucial).

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I have a bird brain, so I have not much in my brain. Will try...

Learn: I can learn from you your food, your culture, your religion, your tradition and anything that you are willing to teach me.

Share: Life experiences - both good and bad.
