About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To find myself, Oh wait...I'm right here...never mind :P

ABOUT ME

I'm kind, fun and a little crazy. :) I am open minded, I love to meet new people, explore different cultures and learn about different points of view, especially why they hold a certain view point.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life to help others learn about the world around them and understand for themselves what different cultures are like and not rely on what they are taught by close minded people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like to talk, go for walks around Istanbul, I am learning to cook authentic Turkish meals from a great Turkish mom with two kids. :) I love to explore this vast city and I enjoy seeing things more than once with different people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted a few people and really enjoy hearing about their cultures and experiences. I have also met others for coffee or to explore Istanbul a bit. Has been a great way of meeting open and like minded people. :D

Interests

I love studying different languages and learning how they work. Reading good books, sightseeing, and hanging out with great friends on the weekend. I love to laugh and have good meaningful conversations.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to read the classics like Charles Dickens and poetry by Poe and Longfellow.

Music? I like it all seriously! From Metal,Pop, rap, country, classical, etc. you name it I listen to some form of it. I'm really getting into some Turkish music now.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Pammukale in Turkey and had not heard or seen anything of it. I was AMAZED! Google it because words cannot express it. By the way it is not sand that holds the clear blue water it is lime. It comes from a natural spring, which over many thousands of years has left behind a tremendous amount of lime deposits and has formed this lime beach. This is also on a mountain top surrounded by the remains of an ancient city. So you sit in this beautiful spot, atop a mountain and look out to an amazing view. Everything is so green and lush. If you ever tire of this relaxing location you can spend hours touring the ruins that are also thousands of years old.
