About Me

I'm a really easy going person. My life is characterized by last minute details that somehow manage to fall into place. I love traveling and experiencing new cultures and I've only have been able to do that recently. It's more of an exchange with the people and places rather than the destination itself. I'm an avid street food eater, no matter how terrible my stomach feels afterwards. One of the best ways to experience culture is through food!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've heard good things about CS from friends who have surfed and hosted. It's really comforting to be hosted by someone that knows the area and to show me the hidden gems. It's also a nice place to find community and be social.

Interests

I love playing and watching soccer, I'm not too great at playing but watching the game is always fun.
I love hiking; it's one of my favorite things to do and it's really calming.
I'm also a sunset seeker. It's a nice way to end off the day and take a moment to reflect.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite movies are "A Portrait of a Lady on Fire", "In the Mood for Love", and "Minari"

I try to listen to a variety of music but my current jams are a lot of Latin pop such as Kali Uchis and Karol G and a random smattering of Noname, Joe Bataan, and Sudan Archives.

I don't read as much as I should but a classic childhood favorite of mine is the Harry Potter series. I'm currently finishing "The Body Keeps the Score".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Impromptu cross country road trip with a friend from California to Alabama.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share some of my favorite sunset and hiking spots around the East Bay. I love a leisurely bike ride and trying out new cooking recipes.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love laughing and making people laugh. I try to share my experiences with them and learn of theirs. I love meeting and interacting with new people!
