ABOUT ME

I write and teach poetry, and have just finished 30 years as a part-time librarian. I was also a flower grower and florist for about 15 years, but I've taken a sabbatical from that to focus on reading and writing poetry.

I love a party, and just as much, love to sit and read or write on porch or near a window with a cup of coffee or an IPA.

I've just finished co-directing a film, Preschool Poets: An Animated Series (www.preschoolpoets.org) and have been lucky to travel some with the film.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've got a house with plenty of room, and like to meet others who are exploring new places while keeping things frugal. I've been a traveler myself and have been grateful for this network.
