About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Spend some time seeing India for the first time then move to Edinburgh in 2019.
ABOUT ME
I'm 22, from the South West of England. I did a degree in sociology and spent most of the last year in Belgium. I am a broad ranging activist (vegan of course) I love reading, writing, acting, socializing, fitness.. travelling...
I like to change things up a lot so I am currently following a sort of minimalist lifestyle so that I can move around easily.
PHILOSOPHY
I live for the people in my life, for the feelings that accompany a new experience and for the feeling that you never know what will happen.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I like the idea of an exchange between people independent of money, just relying on skills and interests. It is a good way to rekindle trust in humanity.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Fairly new to couchsurfing, just found out about it through a travel blog and thought it looked like good fun. I have done a few workaways so I know I'm on board with the concept.
Interests
I love variety in anything I do, have a passion for music and interesting films. Love doing new things with new people and being outdoors as often as possible. Fitness wise I like climbing, badminton, outdoor swimming, parkour and yoga. I'm interested in holistic, animalistic movement.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music always makes me feel better, as with most people I have very varied tastes but as an example I like First Aid Kit, Marlon Williams, The Lumineers, Fall Out Boy, Florence and the Machine..
I also love films and series, anything with dark humour but an upbeat tone will have me watching; Black Books, sense 8, Orange is the New Black, The Boat that Rocked, Withnail and I..
Literature-wise I like the classics; Shakespeare, Austen, Dickens, Orwell.. but anything contemporary that's a bit weird, like 'Perfume' or adventure-y like 'Shanteram' is good.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Backpacking solo at 18, my first taste of freedom :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I have lots of opinions! Would love to swap and share with others thoughts on life and how to spend it. Obviously I speak English so would be happy to teach that, also very basic french.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Reasonable cooking skills, help with English, general help round the house.
