ABOUT ME

I have always been a big dreamer but recent happenings have made me land on Earth and now I think I am trying to find a balance and to achieve my goals instead of dreaming of them. I can be quiet and shy but also outgoing and loud. It depends how comfortable I feel around people. I love getting up early in the morning and having my first cup of black coffee, but also love the night life, drinking and dancing with my friends. I am optimistic and like to believe that this is a good place to be... even if I see so much sadness and violence and poverty and unhappiness around me. I am a Sagitarius who loves travelling and that's why I am a member here!!!!!

PHILOSOPHY

Life is the ultimate reason. Life is amazing and it surprises me all the time. i love learning from people. Dancing is my passion. My family and friends my safety net.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

uau!!! I've couchsurfed a lot, even before I dreamed of sth like this.... When I lived in Manhattan I used to hang out with my friends at International House. At that time, I wasn't livng there yet, so every night I'd couchsurf on somebody's floor or sofa!!!! Fun times!!!!

Interests

I love dancing, of course, reading and movies. I enjoy being with my friends and my family and playing with my two nephews. I like very much to watch soccer and volleyball. I am interested in anything related to art, cultures, travelling, languages,spirituality issues,exotic cuisines (even though I'm not a good cook)!!!

Nowadays I'm listening to Aretha Franklyn, U2, Elvis Presley, Bebo y Cigala and Brazilian pop music. I also enjoy classical music. I am right now reading Niezsche. I am crazy about movies. Big fan of Tarantino, Almadovar, Woody Allen. Chilhood movies: ET and Sound of Music

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hummm..... Well, seeing Barishnikov dance live was pretty amazing.... But also watching Brazil win the 1994 World Cup!!!

I can surely teach my language, Portuguese! I'd love to learn about other languages or pretty much anything, I guess! I like learning about countries and cultures. I can talk about dance and art......
