Heya I am Christy and I would say that I am a pretty easy-going and an always happy person. After i had finished school, I decided to spend a year abroad and I had been working as an aupair in West Auckland, New Zealand. This year was probably one of the best decisions ever and it changed me a lot. It even influenced my ideas about my job in the future and that I want to become a Primary Teacher.
I am spontaneous and I love to make fun and tell jokes (but this is so much easier in my mother language than in English or French). But even though I am probably not that funny when I talk in another language, asome people from a foreigncountry still tell me "Wow! U are the first German that I've met, who is actually kinda funny".
I am 100% trustworthy and honest. I always try to help other people and I treat others as I wish to be treated myself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I guess Couchsurfing is probably the best way to stay somewhere! I love to meet new people (especially from other countries) and yea students don't have a lot of money hahaha! :D
And I really want to change the typical prejudices for Germans. Not all of us are the busy, grumpy kind of people ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I guess that there is not this big amazing and spectacular thing...My life is made out of a million little moments, that take your breath away. To stand the top of an active vulcano, sitting with your best buddy at a beach and admiring the most beautiful sky with soo many stars, doing a bungyjump and getting completely wet in the ocean, finding a place to stay in Russia (when your Russian is as bad as mine-> Miracle haha) and so on...
