Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: What Dreams May Come, Before Sunset, and Breakfast at Tiffany's. My favorite books include Half the Sky, The Time Traveller's Wife, and The Omnivore's Dilemma.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first moment that comes to mind is from my honeymoon. We were in Venice and it was pouring rain on our only day to see the city. Armed with ponchos and umbrellas, we set out with an impossible-to-navigate map and a resolve to see what we could. On the way to Piazza San Marco we found ourselves in front of a cheery choir. A crowd gathered as they sang in harmony, and the frustrated faces of visitors were soon smiling. It was a small part of our soggy afternoon, but it was just so unexpected and beautiful. It left me in tears.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm happy to offer my skills and advice in the areas of drawing, painting, and photography: the three areas I've devoted most of my life to so far. And I love to cook! Although I'm more of an enthusiast. Through CS I hope to expand my knowledge of food and of dishes from many countries and cultures.
