About Me
Hey there! My name is Nanna. I come from Denmark and i'm 22 years old.I am generally a very open-minded and smiling person. I'm very interested in experiencing new cultures and travelling to different places. I moved to the US in 2017 and stayed there for about 1.5 year before moving on to my next adventure here in wonderful AUSTRALIA
Whenever I get the chance I enjoy going on to new places and experience the nature, culture and people i meet on my way.
So far I've couchsurfed many times, and it's been so much fun and I've met many new friends . My first use of it was for a solo trip to Chicago, where a friendly woman hosted me for 4 days. Safe to say, the trip would not have been anyway near as fun, if I'd stayed on a hotel alone. I've been fortunate to find very lovely hosts in both the US and Australia.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It seems like the ideal way to travel, as you get to meet new people while seeing different cities. Also I do travel alone sometimes, so company is always appreciated and I am always looking forward to meeting new people and making friends.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy tons of different music, not picky at all haha. Anything from reggae to indie , classic to alternative ...

Tv shows; Game of thrones, Dexter, Breaking Bad, Dark, Osmosis, Black Mirror
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Become an au pair is definitely one of the best decisions i've ever taken. As I started doing it from a young age (20), it made me much more open to going for what I wanna do and taking more chances in life - with the bonus of meeting people from all around the world.
It's definitely my great experience from America that led me to move on to Australia and keep travelling.
Also I once did a roadtrip through Louisiana and Texas while the Harvey Hurricane was going on - fortunately both my host in San Antonio and Austin was very helpful and we even threw a Hurricane party with some other couchsurfers and friends!
Teach, Learn, Share
Share my culture, teach you to say "rød grød med fløde" and other danish tongue twisters.
I enjoy hanging out with my hosts, learning about their culture and travel stories - whether its the whole day or only an hour the company is always appreciated!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Company, cultural differences, laughter. Also I do enjoy helping out, so if you have the time or desire while hosting me, I would love to help with and share a meal together ect.
