Overview
About Me
I am an outgoing, curious and positive person who enjoy meeting and getting to know new people. I also love traveling, writing, reading fiction and poetry, learning languages, dancing and going out.
I am back in Copenhagen after living abroad in both New York and Seoul, and I miss some international interactions! Professionally, I work as a UX designer for a big green energy company, very corporate, but for a good cause. When I get off work, I write as much as I can (poetry, autofiction, travel essays...) and I am also very politically active.
I also have a deep passion for learning languages and always have a podcast going in some new language, I'm interested in. I can have conversations in Spanish and German and basic interactions in Japanese, French and Italian. My big dream is to become a polyglot and speak 5+ languages fluently.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet new people from different cultures, to help someone find his or her way around my city and culture and to get to speak different languages - and of course having fun!

Music, Movies, and Books
For music, I enjoy hip hop, r'n'b, soul, neosoul, jazz, classical, electronic, world music... Right now, I'm very into Tierra Whack, Cardi B, Erykah Badu, Kate Bush, Common, Nas, Chet Baker and Blossom Dearie.
My favorite movies are probably quite indie. I love all movies by Pedro Almodóvar and Studio Ghibli - and I also enjoy a good French romantic comedy.
And books! I love books so much. After having read a lot of American fiction when living in New York, I'm back to exploring my own cultural roots through Danish poets such as Søren Ulrik Thomsen, Jens August Schade, Nanna Storr-Hansen and Mette Moestrup or fiction by strong female writers such as Suzanne Brøgger and Thit Jensen. My all-time favorite writers are probably Milan Kundera, Haruki Murakami and Tomas Espedal.
