The quote reminds me to be present and appreciate the here and now. It's definitely a work in progress for me.

ABOUT ME
During the school year, I like to keep things fairly simple. In the evenings, I enjoy taking the dogs on walks along nearby trails. On weekends, I relax and start the morning slowly with a cup of coffee. Tom and I may sometimes venture out to go camping, skiing, or other similar activities.

PHILOSOPHY
My job as teacher takes a lot of my energy at the moment. I'm passionate about collecting food waste and citizen science projects. I'm dedicated to zero waste and try to put it into action.

We love listening to live music and especially enjoy folk, acoustic, bluegrass, and soft rock.

Tom is definitely the movie guy. I barely watch TV, but I will join him as an easy way to unwind.

Books
Tom and I read Bible meditations to grow in faith. Since I am a naturalist at heart, I especially love learning about animals and nature.
