ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Sewon!
I recently graduated from William & Mary with a degree in Sociology and Literary & Cultural Studies.
I like going on adventures and collecting things along the way. I usually carry my camera with me and post them in my blog.
I recently moved to Kunming, Yunnan from Shanghai, where I worked for a year. Before that I was living in Mexico City studying at UNAM and working as a freelance writer.
Like many people here on CS, I am an avid traveler. I've studied architecture and history in Prague, Czech Republic and traveled around Krakow, Poland and Berlin, Germany. I've also lived in rural Northeast Thailand. I also backpacked solo through Japan, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Laos.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I met some really wonderful CS community members and ambassadors a few summers ago while traveling in Southeast Asia. I have experienced incredible kindness and hospitality from people all around the world. I have been hosted by complete strangers in Kyoto, Japan and Niigata, Japan as well as Morelia, Mexico. I have also traveled Beijing with a Chinese university student who went out of his way to show me around his favorite parts of the city.
My experiences have been nothing but positive. I am looking for ways to give back so message me if you are heading this way!
