Resumen
Sobre mí
**UPDATE: not accepting any guests for now as i am in the final stages of my dissertation and will be traveling soon after.. so will have no home after aug 13 anyway...
i want to put alot of travel time in and also want to live in different parts of the world to experience different cultures.
I'm quite the contradiction - generally quite social but like everyone else, have the odd off day when i just tend to want to be alone. i like going new places and exploring and am up for an adventure almost all the time - basically the motto is to try everything at least once, then if you dont like it, give it up. im not sure that has as yet extended to "exotic" foods you find in asia... havent had the inkling to put one of those in my mouth as yet!
cambodia/northern thailand backpacking trip dec 2012, melb/cairns/GC/brisbane/sydney aust summer of 2013,
northern territory/central aus roadtrip aust summer of 2014
south wales/london/edinburgh over xmas and nye 2014/2015.
switzerland easter break 2015
next up: Europe aug 17-oct 4th/5th 2015 (if you have a couch offer, theres 2 of us :p)
have surfed an extra potentially 5 couches now
living in singapore did not quite allow me to host too much of my couch! :/ (limited land space and living in flats and living with parents etc) - so im trying to do what i can here in Leeds.
see.... i have a scratch map of the world that needs more scratching off....
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
ive had friends over from canada and the netherlands (we met while travelling). take them places locals usually go to - its a more wholesome experience! :p - this was in singapore.
ive hosted 1 australian girl and 1 english girl in my singapore home before and we took them to places you hardly see any foreigners - it was quite the highlight having local beancurd dessert at 1230am! :D
have surfed one couch in sydney, australia...
he was really nice, unfortunately not on couchsurfing - we met online somewhere else... we're now still friends at the end of it all (:
i surfed a couch in london of someone i met whilst in melbourne.
ive since expanded my CS-repertoire a little: i couchsurfed my way through switzerland whilst i was traveling solo onward from a uni field trip!
